- Our private family located in St Johns woods are seeking a professional head housekeeper or highly experienced housekeeper.
This is a large family household with a team of staff, including chef, butler, and (3) housekeepers, so a team player is key to the role.
As a head housekeeper/ experienced housekeeper you will have (some) house manager experience, as you will be responsible for managing the team of staff, to ensure the highest possible standards are met with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience working within large mansions or palaces would be an advantage.
You will be discreet, loyal possessing a can-do attitude.
You must be trustworthy
You will be fully flexible, happy to multi task and self-motivated to work as part of the family team.
You will speak and have a good command of English
Professionally presented, taking pride in your appearance at all times
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
" Full housekeeping duties being part of and managing a team of (3) housekeepers
" Providing a front of house service
" Happy to train staff when needed
" Assisting with running of the household
" Carrying out any other tasks if requested
" Report any issues to the to the principle(s) in a timely manner
" Confident to speak with contracts when /if required
Working day(s): 5 days per week on rotation basis with the following shift patterns;
Shift 1: 7:00(am) - 5:00(pm)
Shift 2: 11:00 (am) - 9:00(pm)
Rota set for the year
1 confirmed weekend per month
Head Housekeeper Salary: Depending on experience
Experienced Housekeeper Salary: £41,000 gross per year
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years or more relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
