Live-out Laundress/Housekeeper in Chelsea

Our returning, high-profile clients are seeking a full-time live-out Laundress/Housekeeper for their fully staffed property in South Kensington. The role will include working alongside a team of other Housekeepers, supported by House Manager and Family Office.

There will be a focus on laundry duties including washing, ironing, steaming, pressing, and folding, wardrobe management, linen changing and bed making as well as some housekeeping to a very high standard and include caring for fine materials in the home plus the upkeep of antiques and fine art.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working on superyachts or in large, fully staffed high-end households, should be highly discreet, and a strong team player who has a friendly and positive disposition. Applicants must have very strong laundry skills and be comfortable caring for fine linens and delicate clothing.

Working days & hours: 40 hours per week

When family are not in residence: 5 days per week (9am – 5pm/ 10am – 6pm – with some flexibility on working hours)

When family are in residence: 6 days per week (the 6^th day will be rewarded with time off in lieu taken when family are not in residence) with some flexibility on working hours around the household/ families’ requirements

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 gross per annum

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
