Mandarin Speaking Housekeeper/Cook in Central London

Our HNW private family is looking for a Mandarin speaking Housekeeper/Cook for their family residence in central London.

This is an exciting opportunity, to be a part of a formal household, sharing your exceptional experience and cooking skills.

The ideal candidate will be part of a fully staffed household, a hard-working individual possessing a calm and can-do approach to work, knowledgeable in housekeeping, confident cooking using fresh ingredients or the ability to follow basic /simple recipes for the family. There will also be times when travelling will be required. Overall, you will be a team player with a genuine interest in seeking a long term role as this is paramount to the success of this role.

Requirements:

• Experienced working with private families


• Excellent communication skills


• Mandarin speaking with a good level of English


• Hold a current DBS in place (or willing to undergo process)


• Willing to travel

Housekeeping duties (but not limited to);

• Maintaining order and cleanliness throughout the family home


• Laundry, ironing


• Wardrobe management/organising


• Dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping


• Cleaning of family bathroom(s)


• Restocking personal item(s)


• Tidying and organising


• Cleaning work surface(s)


• Cleaning cupboard(s)


• Shopping


• Cooking (breakfast, lunch, dinner)


• Reporting any issue(s) found to the family manager

Working day(s): (5) days per week (working on a rota which will include at least 1 weekend per month)

Working hour(s): (35) hours per week

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000k Gross per year (based on experience and skill set)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
