- Description
- Our private family is seeking a long-term, live-out family housekeeper for their homein Hampstead Village.The family have (2) children and a dog so you will be happy to engage with children and be comfortable around pets.
As the family housekeeper, you will be a cheerful, self-starter who has great initiative and the ability to adapt to the busy family’s needs whilst comfortably slotting into their daily family life and becoming a part of the family.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and whilst it is not required, a Spanish speaker would be an added bonus.
Housekeeping duties;
- General/deep cleaning to a high standard
- Maintaining living space(s) to a high standard
- Dusting, polishing, hoovering, mopping etc
- Care of fine fittings, fixtures
- Care of high-end wardrobe and good knowledge of fabric care etc
- Washing and ironing
- Packing/unpacking
- Making/changing beds & preparing guest bedroom(s)
- Cleaning shower/bath, changing towels etc
- Restocking of personal item(s)
- Running errands (dry cleaning etc)
- Plant care (indoor) & watering (indoor & outdoor)
- Overall, all required housekeeping skills
- Travel with family twice a year (costs covered by the family)
- Flexible to stay at the Family home with the kids when parents are away.
- Able to cook healthy meals
- Able to follow favourite recipes (required)
- Understand and respect food hygiene/handling
- Happy to prepare dinners & light lunches (as required)
- Happy to cook for guest(s)
- Shopping for fresh groceries locally
- Fridge & freezer stocking management
Essential Requirements;
- Previous experience of working within a similar role
- Confident in welcoming and dealing with guests and visitors
- Good communication skills
- High standards and great attention to detail
- Good understanding of caring for materials
- Flexible
- Reliable
- Discreet
Working Day(s) and Hour(s):Tuesday - Saturday
Working Hour(s):10am – 7pm
Salary: £45000 gross per year
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
