- On behalf of our private client, we are seeking a warm and experienced Nanny to care for our 5-year-old and 3-year-old children in Santa Monica.
The ideal Nanny will be a team player accustomed to working in a culturally diverse environment, possess the flexibility to accommodate travel, including potential long travel commitments to ensures a seamless and predictable work arrangement.
This is an informal family, and both parents are very much involved in the children's upbringing.
The parents have a gentle approach with clear boundaries and seek a Nanny who shares their parenting style. Both children are homeschooled, active, independent, and creative.
Schedule:Monday-Friday, 10:00AM – 7:00PM - flexible and open to schedule changes, later nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a warm and safe environment
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and playtime that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
Carpooling or driving children to activities or playdates.
Prepare healthy and nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements.
Create new and exciting healthy food ideas for the children.
Administrate medicine with consent when required.
Organize bedroom toys.
Maintain open communication with parents and other caregivers.
Participate in family travels and activities.
Work in a team with other staff members.
Swim with the children and provide other activities that promote a healthy lifestyle.
Qualifications:
4+ years of professional childcare experience
Background on Montessori education-related approaches is preferred but not required.
Passionate about holistic and child-led care.
Essential:
Valid, full, clean Drivers License
Have the relevant documentation for employment in the USA
Salary & Package:$30 to $40 per hour DOE, vacation, sick days, monthly health stipend.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
