- Description
On behalf of out private client, we are looking for a Live-in Nanny to care for 4 children ages - 6G-9B-13G-15G in Knightsbridge.
This role will turn into will turn into ROTA within the next 12 months
The ideal Nanny will be highly qualified and have genuine interest in working with children, contribute to the children’s growth and development, experienced, hands-on, proactive, active, trustworthy, calm, discreet & highly professional, maintaining a high standard of order and cleanliness, confidently manage children’s needs, and happy to be flexible should plans change at the last minute, a team player is essential as the Nanny will be required to work closely with the Live-in Housekeeper and another Nanny.
Working hours and days:
During Term Time: 30 hours, Wednesday-Saturdays.
(Usual days off Sunday, Monday & Tuesday).
During school holidays: average 55 hours per week. Nanny to be on duty for all of children’s holidays, however only half the holiday days, approx. 65 days a year.
Duties
Washing and ironing
Maintain cleanliness in children’s playroom, bedrooms, and the household in general
Wardrobe management i.e. school uniform and PE kit
Engaging, playing, and supporting with schoolwork / school curriculum.
Travel abroad - up to 11 weeks per year- notice given in advance
Cook - preparing and feeding the children nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring a healthy and well-balanced diet.
Making cooking fun for children i.e. baking
Accommodation: Own Bedroom and bathroom shared with the children
Requirements:
During Term Time: Available from Wednesdays to Saturdays till 5pm during term time (Wednesday to Saturday Live-In).
During school holidays: full time during half the school holidays
Travel abroad up to 9-10 weeks of the year (some holidays in the UK countryside).
Progression to rota nanny (one week/one week) in the future (45-55 hours average per week).
Start: April 2024 & a trial will be required
Salary: Starting from 30k gross and then up to 50k gross per year once the role change. Overtime paid extra.
