Our private clients are seeking a highly experienced, full-time Head Housekeeper for their property in Munich, Germany home to family of 4. The family also employ another long-term Housekeeper and 2 cleaners.
Duties will include all hands-on housekeeping to impeccable standards, laundry for delicate materials and fine linen, household shopping and errands, dealing with tradespeople, simple family style cooking, maintenance of the garden and supervision of cleaning staff.
Applicants must have 5+ years of high-end housekeeping experience for luxury properties/ HNW clients and be extremely confident in the care of fine materials, furniture, fittings, and fabrics. It is also important applicants have some supervisor/ managerial experience. Candidates must hold an EU passport and drivers’ licence, be flexible to work evenings and weekends and speak either fluent English or German. The ideal candidate will be discreet and responsible and someone who is confident with technology would be a bonus.
A private room within the home will be offered for the first 3 months of employment/ during probation and following that, the role can either be live-in or live-out (the family will provide separate accommodation or the candidate can arrange their own and receive a higher salary). The family will offer 26 – 30 days annual leave per year that must be taken when the family are also on holiday.
Working days & hours: 40 hours per week - Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with flexibility to work evenings and weekends on request in exchange for extra time off during the week.

Accommodation: Private room in house (first 3 month), Separate Accommodation (after probation)
Live-in Salary (accommodation provided by family): €35,000 - €43,000 EUR gross per year (DOE)
Live-out Salary (candidate sources own accommodation after probation period) €50,000 - €60,000 EUR gross per year (DOE)
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
