Part-time Housekeeper in Notting Hill

Our private clients are seeking a part-time, live-out Housekeeper for their 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom property in Notting Hill. The family spend approximately half of the year in London with friends and family staying in the home occasionally throughout the year. The family also have a small dog.

Duties will include –

• Ensuring all aspects of the property are maintained, cleaned, organized.


• Looking after the plants and flowers throughout the property


• Arranging professional cleaning/ seasonal cleaning of furnishings as needed


• Flagging to the family/ their team where something is broken and requires repairs, overseeing any appointments


• Liaise with family and their team to prepare for their arrival, ensuring groceries, flowers, linens etc. are ready.


• Managing the laundry, hand washing, and ironing


• Ensuring linens and towels are freshened as needed


• Properly folding and organizing drawers and wardrobes


• Organizing dry cleaning as appropriate, and arranging collections and drop offs


• Organizing repairs to clothes as needed


• Ordering and organizing supplies, toiletries, and groceries as needed


• Recording and filing receipts efficiently


• Unpacking, and putting away household deliveries


• Organizing returns as needed


• Opening mail and forwarding as needed


• Pet care for small dog; walking, trips to vets and groomers, feeding and any other care as needed if the client is unavailable to do so.


• Occasional preparation of teas and coffees


• Meeting and greeting guests

Applicants must have 4+ years high-end private housekeeping experience, be a dog lover, and have strong spoken English. The ideal candidate will be warm and friendly, discreet and professional and open to feedback.

Please note the Housekeeper will be required to sign an NDA, be happy to undergo a DBS check, and be registered as self-employed.

Start date: ASAP

Working days & Hours:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9am – 5pm

Salary: £20 per hour (self-employed basis)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 4 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
