Live-in Tutor in London & Hong Kong

Role and responsibilities:

On behalf of our private client, we are seeking an experienced Tutor with an international background to commence as soon as possible. The family has three children, all born and raised in the UK, and is seeking a dedicated English-speaking tutor specifically for their 10-year-old daughter.

The position will be based in London until July, after which the family will relocate to Hong Kong. The successful candidate must be willing and able to relocate accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within international school environments, as well as experience supporting private families. A strong background in working with children around the age of 10 is essential. The role will involve providing comprehensive academic support across all core subjects, including assisting with homework and reinforcing classroom learning.

Preference will be given to candidates who have lived in or have substantial experience with Asian cultures, particularly in Hong Kong or mainland China.

Upon relocation to Hong Kong, the Tutor will be responsible for collecting the family’s 10-year-old daughter from school at approximately 3:30pm and providing structured academic support and supervision until 9:00pm.

Hours: 6 days a week

Salary: £400 per day (dependant on experience)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
