Live-in Housekeeper in Chelsea

The Role

Our private clients are seeking an experienced Live-in Housekeeper to manage their large 5-storey, 6-bedroom family home near Sloane Square tube station. This is a full-time position requiring someone confident working in a sizeable property, maintaining high standards, and taking a proactive, hands-on approach.

The role includes full responsibility for the upkeep of the home, working independently during the week and handing over to a weekend housekeeper.

Working days & hours: Monday – Friday, 11:00am – 8:00pm, plus Saturday 11:00am – 1:00pm (for handover with Weekend Housekeeper)

Duties will include:

o All hands-on cleaning and housekeeping to a high standard
o Managing a large multi-storey home, ensuring all areas are maintained impeccably
o Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
o Deep cleaning and seasonal organisation
o Managing deliveries, household supplies and liaising with vendors
o Dog walking and general pet care when required
o Occasional light cooking and meal preparation
o Supporting visiting guests and additional pet care if needed
o Any other duties related to the smooth running of the household

The ideal candidate will be experienced, proactive and highly organised, with the ability to manage a large home independently. They must be discreet, professional, and confident maintaining high standards without supervision. Good English is required (French a bonus).

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 gross per annum (Depending on experience

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
