On behalf of our private client, we are seeking a reliable, nurturing, and experienced fluent english speaking Part-time Nanny for a high-profile family based in Ashtead, Surrey. This is part time nanny role caring for two young children aged 1 and 3, and would suit a candidate who is warm, proactive, and discreet.
The parents may not always be home due to their work schedules, so the ideal candidate will be confident working independently and taking full ownership of the children's afternoon and evening routine. Ideal nanny would have their own car to be able to do school runs.
Working hours / schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 4:00pm – 7:30pm
Duties include:
- Collecting the eldest child from nursery
- Supervising and engaging both children in age-appropriate, stimulating activities
- Managing the children's evening routine, including bath time and settling to sleep between 6:00pm – 7:00pm
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
- Keeping children's areas tidy and organised
- Carrying out any additional duties as reasonably requested by the family
The ideal candidate will be:
- Experienced in caring for young children, ideally aged 1–3
- A driver with their own vehicle, able to carry out nursery pick-ups
- A confident and capable cook for young children
- Nurturing, dependable, and proactive
- Discreet and professional - an understanding of working within a high-profile household is essential
- Able to work independently when parents are not at home
- Someone who will feel like a natural extension of the family
Salary: £25–30 gross per hour (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP
Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
