Live-out Housekeeper in Windsor

A private household is seeking a live-out Housekeeper to join their team at a beautifully maintained second residence based in Englefield Green, near Old Windsor which is primarily used during the summer months. The home is kept to a high, hotel-style standard, so this role would suit someone already experienced in quality cleaning who is looking to move further into a more refined, private household environment.

You’ll be working alongside a team of 4 Housekeepers, supported by a Head Housekeeper and Estate Manager, offering a structured and professional setting.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
(Flexibility and some overtime required when the family is in residence, with time off in lieu)

Duties include:

• Maintaining all areas of the home to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation


• Carrying out hands-on housekeeping, following established routines and expectations


• Working closely with the team and reporting to the Head Housekeeper


• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the household

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2–3+ years’ experience in housekeeping within private households, 4–5 hotels, or high-end environments*


• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards


• A team-focused and reliable approach


• Flexibility during busier periods when the family is in residence

Start: ASAP

Salary: £35,000 gross per year + discretionary bonus (approx. £2,900)

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
