Seasonal Housekeeper in St Tropez

Our client is seeking an experienced Seasonal Housekeeper for a newly finished luxury property located in a gated community in St Tropez. The residence is supported by a property management company.

This is a seasonal role (June–September) in a quiet, well-managed home which is only occupied intermittently (approximately 40–50 days over the summer period). The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable, and comfortable adapting between very quiet periods and high-intensity service when the principals are in residence.

The property includes 5 bedrooms, staff areas, and large outdoor spaces, including gardens and a pool.

Schedule: Flexibility on working days and hours required, depending on occupancy throughout the season. There will be some very quiet periods with a low workload, as well as some busy periods with longer working hours and limited time off. 

When the clients are not in residence: light housekeeping, dusting, checks, and ensuring the property remains in excellent condition (low hours with flexibility on working times)

When the clients are in residence: 8–10 hours per day, up to 6 days per week

Overall assignment is based on 450 working hours across the season (June–September, 4 months).

Average breakdown: approximately 112.5 hours per month (to be allocated as needed depending on occupancy)

Duties will include –

• Full housekeeping and maintenance of high presentation standards throughout the property


• Laundry and ironing


• Preparing the house for arrivals and full turn-down after departures


• Daily cleaning and upkeep of all areas when in residence


• Simple breakfast preparation, laying tables, and light service (coffee, tea, drinks, etc.)


• Shopping and running errands as required


• Ensuring the property is always guest-ready even during vacant periods


• Liaising with the House Manager / property management company as needed

Accommodation:
Live-in option available (ensuite room within staff area) or live-out depending on candidate preference

Contract / Payment:
CESU contract (must the have right to work in France)

€3,500 gross per month per 100 working hours (seasonal total based on agreed 400 hours)

• Experienced in private households, luxury villas, or high-end hospitality


• Flexible and able to adapt to changing occupancy and workload


• Strong housekeeping and laundry skills with excellent attention to detail


• Calm, reliable and able to work independently


• Comfortable working in a seasonal, rotating-occupancy environment


• Well-organised with a proactive approach to keeping a home maintained year-round

Start date:
June 2026 

Salary: €3,500 gross per month, based on an average of 112.5 working hours per month (450 hours total across 4 months, June–September).

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
