We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Housekeeper to join a small team in a prestigious private residence near Nyon. Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Maintain the residence to impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Perform thorough cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
- Care for fine furnishings, silverware, and delicate household items.
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned, tidied, and organised to the highest standard.
Laundry & Garment Care
- Manage the care and cleaning of clothing and household linens.
- Iron, fold, and store garments and linens appropriately.
- Clean and polish shoes to a high standard.
- Follow specific garment care instructions and handle delicate fabrics with care.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will:

- Possess a strong eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and strong organisational skills.
- Exercise complete discretion and confidentiality at all times, both within and outside the residence.
- Be comfortable working around dogs and cats.
- Strong housekeeping and laundry experience, including the care of fine furnishings and garments.
- Fluency in French is required.
- Valid EU/Swiss passport or Swiss work/residence permit.
- Valid driving licence and access to a car.
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Nyon is preferred.
Hours: Monday to Friday, circa 25 hours per week
Salary: 40K CHF per annum
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
