Temporary live-in Cook in South of France

Our private client is seeking a Temporary Live-in Cook to support them at their residence in Cap Ferrat, South of France for an initial 3-month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled private household Cook who enjoys preparing fresh, healthy and flavourful Mediterranean-style meals. The client is looking for a confident home cook rather than a formal Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu planning, grocery shopping, provisioning and preparing daily meals for the principal and guests.

Schedule: 6 days per week. Flexibility is essential, as the role will involve preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.

Duties will include –

• Planning and preparing fresh, family-style Mediterranean meals


• Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner preparation


• Grocery shopping and provisioning


• Managing kitchen supplies and food stock


• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment


• Catering for guests when the principal is entertaining

The ideal candidate will be –

• An experienced private household Cook


• Confident preparing healthy Mediterranean cuisine


• Happy cooking for 2–3 people on a daily basis, increasing to 6–7 guests when required


• Organised, flexible and self-sufficient


• Professional, discreet and personable


• Available to start immediately

Accommodation: Private self-contained accommodation provided nearby

Location: South of France

Start date: ASAP (ideally end of June / beginning of July 2026)

Contract: Initial 3-month assignment

Salary: €6,000 per month

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
