- Description
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly discreet Personal Chauffeur to support an Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) principal based in Grosvenor Square, Mayfair. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished chauffeur with previous experience working within a private household or for a UHNW individual, delivering the highest standards of service at all times. The role will involve regular visits to private members' clubs, fine dining restaurants, golf clubs, and other exclusive venues, requiring a chauffeur who is accustomed to delivering a seamless and discreet service in high-end environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and discreet chauffeur services for the principal, driving luxury vehicles including Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Range Rovers. Travel will primarily be within Central London and the Home Counties, so exceptional knowledge of London's road network is essential. During quieter periods, the role will also involve monitoring the property's facilities, running errands, and assisting the in-house household team as required. A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider household operation are essential.
Applicants should have previous experience working as a chauffeur for a UHNW individual or private household and be confident driving prestigious vehicles, including Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and Range Rover Autobiography models. Outstanding knowledge of Central London and the Home Counties is essential, together with exceptional professionalism, discretion, reliability, and presentation.
Hours: The typical working day will commence between 9:30am and 10:00am, with a finish time no later than 12:30am. The role is booked on a daily basis, with a minimum commitment of eight hours per day. Flexibility is essential, as working hours may vary depending on the principal's schedule. When the principal is in residence, typically for periods of three to four weeks, the successful candidate will be expected to work every day during that period. Overnight accommodation within the residence will be available where required to support operational needs.
Salary: £25–£35 per hour, depending on experience. Additional hours will be paid on a pro rata hourly basis.
Start Date: The position is due to commence during the first week of August, initially for three to four days before the principal departs for approximately six days. Upon the principal's return, the assignment will continue through to September, with the potential for the role to become a full-time permanent position.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
