On behalf of our private UHNW client, we are seeking an experienced, highly organised and proactive candidate to support a busy UHNW private family.
The family requires someone adaptable, proactive, and naturally willing to help wherever needed, while still maintaining very high housekeeping standards.
This is a hands-on, varied role requiring emotional intelligence, discretion, organization and an eye for detail.
When the family is outside the UK, the role can move to a 5-day week, and depending on the family’s travel schedule, weekend days off can also be arranged.
The family are in the fully staffed residence just over half the year and have 2 children.
Working hours: Full time 6 days per week with one weekday off
Accommodation: private, separate accommodation within the residence
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to lead and manage the housekeeping team in the long term (1-2 housekeepers)
- Hands-on with all housekeeping tasks - cleaning, dusting, mopping, hoovering, polishing, changing of linen. Ensuring the property is kept to the highest standard at all times
- Laundry and ironing assistance
- Wardrobe management. Includes care of luxury items, couture, and high-end materials.
- Helping prepare luggage for travel.
- Helping unpack and organisation of luggage during stays.
- Manage inventories for delicate cutlery, crystals, tableware etc.
- Cooking is not required
- Ad hoc errands as required
Qualifications & Skills:
Salary: £50-60k gross DOE
To start: asap
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
