We are seeking an exceptional chef to join the household of a UHNW couple based near Central Park in Manhattan.
Schedule: The position is permanent, full–time and live-out, ideally 4 to 5 days per week; start date ASAP.
The principals have historically employed chefs from outstanding restaurant backgrounds, including a former Corporate Chef of Momofuku, and are seeking someone capable of operating at a similarly high level rather than a traditional private chef.
The cuisine leans towards refined Asian influences, with a preference for Korean or Chinese flavours complemented by strong classical training. The role offers the opportunity to maintain world-class culinary standards while enjoying a more balanced lifestyle.
Ideal candidates would have:
• Michelin-starred or leading contemporary restaurant experience
• Momofuku or contemporary Asian kitchen backgrounds
• Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, or Sous Chef experience
• Strong technical foundations and creativity
• Professionalism, discretion, and adaptability within a private home
Start: ASAP
Salary: Negotiable, from 150 000 USD annually
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
