Description
On behalf of our private client, we are seeking an experienced, energetic and highly adaptable ROTA Travelling Nanny for a family based in London. The children are aged 3 years old and new born is on the way. The role involves frequent international travel for approximately half of the year. The family already employ housekeepers, so the focus is entirely on the children's care, routine, feeding  and development. The ideal candidate will be warm, organised and completely at ease working across different locations, time zones and household environments.

 

Duties include:


  • Providing attentive, age-appropriate childcare and supervision

  • Maintaining the children's daily routines such as meals, naps, schoolwork and bedtime

  • Assisting with homework and developmental learning

  • Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children

  • Coordinating the children's schedules, appointments and activities

  • Keeping the children's bedrooms, play areas and belongings tidy

  • Accompanying the family on all domestic and international travel

  • Packing and organising the children's clothing, supplies and travel essentials

  • Supporting the children during flights, transfers and hotel stays

  • Communicating regularly with parents regarding the children's wellbeing and development

  • Handling any emergencies calmly and responsibly


The successful candidate will:


  • Have a minimum of 3–5 years of professional nanny experience

  • Speak Spanish or Italian is essential


  • Right to work in the UK & EU is needed 


  • Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate

  • Have a clean driving record

  • Be able to swim and supervise children during water activities

  • Be flexible (including evenings, weekends and holidays when travelling)

  • Be discreet and respectful of family privacy at all times


Schedule: 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off 

 

Salary: £65K gross per year

 

To start: Flexible for the right candidate

 

Unless otherwise specified, a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
