A warm and welcoming family is looking for an experienced maternity nurse/nanny to care for our newborn baby, with some light household support in Hersham, Surrey
We are seeking a kind, caring, patient, and attentive professional with experience caring for newborns. It is important that the candidate can establish a calm and safe routine for the baby, while also being willing to assist with simple household tasks related to the children.
Schedule: The position is temporary for 3-6 months, live-in and full–time. 6 days per week and a minimum of 4 hours rest per day guaranteed. After 6 months the family will be happy to discuss a permanent position
Responsibilities:
- Full care of the newborn (feeding, settling, nappy changing, maintaining routine)
- Supporting sleep routines and overall wellbeing of the baby
- Sterilising bottles and caring for baby equipment
- Basic household support, including:
- Washing children’s clothes
- Warming breakfast for older children
- Keeping children’s areas tidy
- Working closely with parents and following their guidance on baby care
- Providing a safe, calm, and nurturing environment
Requirements:
- Experience as a maternity nurse or with newborns
- Excellent references
- Right to work in the UK
- Fluent English
- Non-smoker
- Responsible, organised, and reliable
We are looking for someone who will become a trusted support to the family and provide professional, loving care for our newborn.

Salary:
Competitive and negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications, in the region of £250–£400 per 24 hours for a single baby, with flexibility to go higher for particularly experienced candidates.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
