Live-in Butler in Kuwait

On behalf of our private client based in Kuwait we are looking for a professional, qualified, and discreet Butler to manage their Household.

This role requires someone who is highly organised, self-sufficient, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Main responsibilities will be to maintain the residence to the highest standards, providing formal butler service when the principal is at home or entertaining guests, and ensuring complete confidentiality at all times. Cooking is not essential but would be considered a bonus.

The principal is at home primarily on weekends and holidays; weekdays are generally quieter. Flexibility is required for events or when the principal is in residence.

Responsibilities

Formal Butler Service:

• Provide polished, professional butler service including serving meals, beverages, and attending to guests with discretion and grace.


• Prepare and serve refreshments as required, anticipating the principal's preferences.

Household Maintenance:

• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of all areas of the residence.


• Ensure the home is always guest-ready, particularly on weekends and holidays when the principal is in residence.

Event Support:

• Assist with event planning and execution, including formal dinners and private functions (set-up, service, and clean-down).

Personal Assistance:

• Handle wardrobe care, including packing and unpacking for the principal as required.


• Provide light personal assistance as needed.

Security & Confidentiality:

• Ensure the security, privacy, and absolute confidentiality of the household at all times.


• Be vigilant and proactive in maintaining a safe and secure environment.


• Basic cooking skills are welcome but not required. The focus is on butler and household duties.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Butler in a private household, luxury hotel, or similar environment (experience in the Middle East or with UHNW individuals is a plus).


• Qualifications: Formal butler training or equivalent professional experience.


• Competent in formal table service, wardrobe care, packing/unpacking, and household organisation.


• Absolute confidentiality is non-negotiable.


• Able to manage the household without constant direction.


• Impeccable presentation and manners.


• Adaptable to the principal's schedule (quieter weekdays, busier weekends/holidays).

Accommodation: A private room will be provided for the Butler.

Salary: $30k net USD per year

Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
