Live-out Housekeeper / Nanny in Withington, Gloucestershire

About the role

On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking an experienced and flexible Housekeeper / Nanny to support a busy family with five children aged between 5 and 9 years old. This is a long-term, live-out position best suited to someone organised, proactive, and confident managing both household duties and childcare responsibilities.

The role is approximately 60% housekeeping and 40% nanny duties, with three of the children at home full-time. The ideal candidate will be warm, energetic, reliable, and able to adapt to a flexible weekly schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• School runs

• Assisting with homework, routines, and after-school activities


• Maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout the home


• Laundry, ironing, tidying, and household organisation


• Meal preparation and general household support


• Driving locally for errands and activities


• Babysitting and occasional overnight care as required (paid additionally)

Hours

Monday to Friday - circa 40 hours a week

Typical rota includes:

• 2 days: 9:00am – 5:00pm


• 2 days: 11:00am – 7:00pm


• 1 day: 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Candidate Profile

• Confident caring for multiple children


• Previous experience in a similar housekeeping/nanny role


• Strong housekeeping and organisational skills


• Flexible, dependable, and proactive


• Driver with own car is essential

Accommodation: Live-out position

Salary: £37,000 - £43,000, depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
