- Description
We are looking a reliable, professional, and positive Housekeeper/Cook for our private clients in Geneva. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised home, preparing family meals, and supporting the family with school runs and errands.
The position is permanent, live-in or live-out for local candidates, full-time
Schedule: 5 days per week (days/hours to be agreed – likely including school pickup window)
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both domestic management and working with children in a warm, discreet family setting.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Kitchen Management
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the house (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, laundry, and ironing).
- Manage the kitchen – keep it clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Ensure household supplies are maintained.
Cooking
- Prepare daily meals for the family (breakfast, lunch/dinner as required).
- Accommodate family preferences and dietary needs.
- Plan simple, nutritious menus.
Errands
- Run occasional errands, including grocery shopping.
- Other light household-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping/cooking experience in a private household or similar setting.
- Verifiable references from previous employers.
- Punctual, discreet, trustworthy, and proactive with a positive attitude.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland (or ability to obtain).
- Italian speaker is a bonus
- Valid driving licence is a bonus
