On behalf of our private client, we are seeking an experienced, highly organised and proactive candidate to provide comprehensive support to a busy professional family of five.
Please note this is predominantly a PA rather than Governess/Nanny role.
The family require a degree-educated candidate with strong educational experience who can become a trusted right-hand person to the mother, coordinating school matters, travel, administration and the wider logistics of family life.
You will act as an integral support to the parents, playing an important role in the children's educational journey whilst managing schedules, documentation and day-to-day household coordination. They will work closely with the parents and existing household staff to maintain a structured, calm and well-organised family environment.
Responsible for managing the children’s routine (aged 4, 9 & 12), school and activity coordination, schedules, travel arrangements, documentation, and wider family logistics, while working closely with the parents and other household staff.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am–7:30pm
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
Educational & Child Support:
- Supporting children's routines, wellbeing, organisation and educational development
- Managing school collections, day-to-day transitions and extracurricular activities
- Overseeing homework, reading and educational support
- Assisting parents in supporting the children's ongoing educational development
Family Administration & Logistics:
- Managing family diaries, schedules, travel arrangements and logistics
- Managing family and personal administration, documentation and appointments
- Liaising with tutors, household staff and external providers
- Assisting with shopping, orders, returns and general family administration
- Providing occasional proxy parenting and travel support as required
Skills required:
- Previous experience in a comparable private household role involving children, family administration and day-to-day household coordination
- A degree, and fluency in written and spoken English
- Educational qualifications, teaching experience, or a degree in education or child development strongly preferred
- A full, clean driving licence - a family vehicle will be provided for professional use
- Exceptional organisational, multitasking and communication skills
- A highly proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
- The ability to work collaboratively within a household team
- A warm, caring, discreet manner with a genuine investment in supporting the family
Salary: £60–70k gross DOE
