- On behalf of our VVIP clients, we are looking for a Houseman for their property in Belgravia.
The property was recently redeveloped, it is one of the principals second residences as well as high-end office space. The principal has an everchanging schedule and would be there on a short notice, so the main aim is to keep the space always prepared for the arrival of the principal or his colleagues, associates and guests.
The ideal houseman will have previous private household experience and/or 5-star hotel experience, have strong communication skills, customer-service oriented, a team player, adaptive, an eye for detail, is discreet and can work independently.
Duties but not limited to:
- Keep all areas of the building (including the exterior of the building) clean and tidy throughout the shift.
- Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning, resetting meeting rooms, replenishing pantries, toilets, moving furniture etc.
- Perform carpet cleaning and jet washing of internal courtyard areas with the provided machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement, repairing basic fixtures.
- Carry out regular floor walks of the building and report and log any issues/actions as required
- Ensure all cleaning machinery is used in a safe working order as well as ensure all cleaning products as well as cleaning standards are maintained to highest standards.
- Proactively report any maintenance issues within the building and escalate when needed.
Be flexible to support the team and client with functions, events and other responsibilities including outside of core working hours as required as well as perform ad hoc duties requested by the site lead or client
Schedule: 5 days a week – Monday to Friday, 10am – 7pm.
Benefits: If you would be required to work on a weekend, there will be a day in lieu provided.
Salary: £30K gross per year
Start date: End of April, 2026
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
