On behalf of our private HNW client we are seeking a professional, friendly, well-presented candidate to assist her in her new private residence.
The successful candidate will be able to offer a formal service when required and a more relaxed yet professional service day to day to organise and care for the Principal and the property.
Since the Principal travels occasionally, the role includes responsibility for the residence whilst she is away and would be best suited to someone who has worked in a county residence before and likes the outdoors.
Previous care of dogs is essential.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with occasional out of hours support required when entertaining & more downtime when the Principal is travelling.
Main duties are but not limited to:
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the property
- Oversight & supervision of cleaners, caterers when entertaining and visiting contractors
- Assistance at dinner parties & events including service, welcoming guests and making them comfortable
- General property and household maintenance skills
- Ensuring the residence is well-kept, secure, and operating smoothly
Knowledge and care of fine finishes such as artwork, silverware and glassware
Keep the household well stocked
- Occasional driving duties including running errands
- Assisting with any additional household tasks as required
- Care of 3 Dachshunds including walking, feeding, vet visits & general care
Skills required:
- Proven experience working in a similar role within a private HNW household
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
- Discrete and loyal- seeking a long-term role
- Friendly, approachable, practical and proactive
- Eye for detail and happy to be hands on when required
- Able to ‘read a room’ and adapt as necessary
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Technically savvy – Wifi, household systems and appliances
- Valid UK driving licence
- Dog lover
- Checkable references
Accommodation: Private separate single occupancy accommodation provided within residence
Salary: Up to £70,000 gross DOE
Start: ASAP
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
