We are seeking a highly professional and discreet Cook/Housekeeper to support a high-profile, UHNW family residing in Belgravia. The family values a calm, quiet, and orderly home environment. They are looking for a long-term candidate who takes pride in their work and can offer stability and dedication.
Schedule: The position is permanent, live-out, part-time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
This is a predominantly culinary-focused role, with 80% of the time dedicated to cooking and 20% to light housekeeping. Please note, you will not be responsible for deep cleaning; a separate Housekeeper handles heavy cleaning 4 days a week, and another covers the weekends.
Culinary duties
You will be responsible for preparing nutritious, high-standard meals for the family of four (sometimes five in the summer). The family enjoys a Mediterranean diet rich in vegetables and fresh produce.
- Menu Planning & Preparation: Cooking Lunch (12:00 PM) and Dinner (5:00 PM) daily.
- Healthy Cooking: Expertise in creating healthy, balanced meals, fresh salads, and vegetable-based dishes.
- Juicing: Preparing fresh juices.
- Procurement: Sourcing and buying fresh ingredients. Keeping the pantry and fridge fully stocked.
- Kitchen Management: Ensuring the kitchen is spotless, tidy, and organised at all times.
Housekeeping & ad-hoc duties (20%)
When time allows, you will assist with light domestic duties to keep the home running smoothly.
- Tidying: General straightening of living areas.
- Laundry Care: Ironing and maintaining fine clothing.
- Cleaning: Hoovering and light dusting.
- Pet Care: Walking the family’s small dog (Pet-friendly is a must).
Travel (seasonal)
The family often travels to France during the Summer. You must be willing and flexible to accompany them.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role working for high-profile or UHNW families.
- Stability: Proven longevity in previous roles (we are not looking for candidates who move jobs every year).
- Culinary Skills: High food standards with a strong understanding of healthy/Mediterranean cooking.
- Must be Pet Friendly (Dog).
- Must be flexible to travel to France in the Summer.
- Must have excellent checkable references.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Salary: Negotiable, from £30+ net per hour
