Live-out Housekeeper in Kensington

Our private clients are seeking a Live-out Housekeeper for their newly renovated, high-end family home in Kensington/ Holland Park. The principals and their two children (no pets) will be moving into the property in September following an extensive renovation, and are looking for a hands-on, proactive Housekeeper to help maintain the home to an exceptional standard. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm (1 hour lunch break)

This is very much a cleaning-focused role centred around hands-on tidying, cleaning and organisation. There is no cooking, shopping, stock management in this role. 

Duties will include –

• Full housekeeping/ cleaning to an exceptional standard


• Daily tidying and organisation throughout the home


• Laundry and ironing


• Care of luxury finishes, furnishings and delicate materials


• Maintaining the overall presentation and smooth running of the property


• Assisting with the family's move into the newly renovated residence


• Learning and operating household systems, including alarms and security systems when required

The ideal candidate will be –

• Experienced within private households or luxury hotel environments


• Highly organised with strong attention to detail


• Proactive and able to identify tasks without requiring direction/ instruction


• Knowledgeable regarding cleaning products and care of high-end surfaces


• Intelligent, switched-on and a strong communicator


• Strong command of English


• Discreet, professional and respectful of the family's privacy


• Comfortable working as part of an established household team

Start date: September 2026 

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 gross per annum DOE

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
