About the role
On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking an experienced and flexible Housekeeper / Nanny to support a busy family with five children aged between 5 and 9 years old. This is a long-term, live-out position best suited to someone organised, proactive, and confident managing both household duties and childcare responsibilities.
The role is approximately 60% housekeeping and 40% nanny duties, with three of the children at home full-time. The ideal candidate will be warm, energetic, reliable, and able to adapt to a flexible weekly schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- School runs
- Assisting with homework, routines, and after-school activities
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards throughout the home
- Laundry, ironing, tidying, and household organisation
- Meal preparation and general household support
- Driving locally for errands and activities
- Babysitting and occasional overnight care as required (paid additionally)
Hours
Term time: 7 hours a day, Monday - Thursday 11am - 6pm
Holidays: 8 hours a day, Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm
Candidate Profile
- Confident caring for multiple children
- Previous experience in a similar housekeeping/nanny role
- Strong housekeeping and organisational skills
- Flexible, dependable, and proactive
- Driver with own car is essential
