Temporary Housekeeper in Surrey

Our private clients are seeking an experienced Temporary Live-out Housekeeper to join the household team at their second residence in Englefield Green, Surrey. The property is primarily occupied during the summer months, and this role has been created to provide additional support to the permanent housekeeping team during the principals' stay. The successful candidate will work alongside four permanent Housekeepers, supported by a Head Housekeeper and Estate Manager, helping to maintain the property to exceptional standards throughout this busy period.

Schedule: 6 days per week on a rota basis. Working hours will be scheduled to provide cover between 7:00am and 11:00pm, with an average working day of 8–10 hours. Flexibility is absolutely essential to provide additional support during the busiest periods when the principals are in residence.

Duties will include –

• Maintaining all areas of the residence to exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation


• Full hands-on housekeeping to the highest standard, following established cleaning schedules and procedures


• Working collaboratively with the permanent housekeeping team to deliver seamless service


• Reporting to and communicating effectively with the Head Housekeeper


• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running and presentation of the household

The ideal candidate will be –

An experienced Housekeeper with previous HNW/UHNW private household experience. Candidates must be professional, discreet, hardworking and flexible, with the ability to work efficiently as part of a large housekeeping team. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude are essential.

Contract: Temporary – ASAP until the end of August 2026

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £22–£25 gross per hour DOE

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
