On behalf of our private clients, we are seeking an experienced, discreet housekeeper to support a busy family. This is a part-time role, 2 days per week to start with flexibility around potential schedule changes essential.
Schedule: 2 days per week, 10am – 6PM
Duties:
- General housekeeping and deep cleaning to a high standard (experience with working with cleaning antiques and delicate household materials and surfaces useful)
- food preparation (simple family meals; dietary preferences to be discussed)
- Laundry and garment care
- Local errands (collecting dry cleaning, shopping)
- Ad hoc tasks as needed by the household
- Packing assistance for family trips
- Home organisation — keeping wardrobes, cupboards and storage tidy and functional
- Monitoring household supplies and replacing items when running low
- Coordinating repairs and servicing of household items
Requirements
- Previous experience in a private household mandatory
- Comfortable and experienced being around young children (a nanny is in place, so this is not a childcare role)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Discretion and confidentiality essential
- Reliable, calm, and able to work independently
