On behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented housekeeper. Our clients have recently moved into their new home, and with their first baby due in September, they are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully clean, organised, and well-run household. The property is a spacious three-bedroom home featuring antique wooden floors. There are no pets in the household, and the family are particularly keen to find someone who is thorough, trustworthy, and able to work independently to a consistently high standard.
The role will involve carrying out a full weekly clean of the property, as well as managing the household laundry and ironing, including the hand-washing of a small number of delicate items. As they are expecting a baby, the family will provide all cleaning equipment and would like only eco-friendly, child-safe cleaning products to be used. The position is available to start as soon as possible
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household and be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping to a high standard. They will be reliable, proactive, discreet, and have excellent attention to detail, taking pride in keeping the home clean, organised, and running smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role with a friendly and appreciative family. No cooking or driving is required for this role.
Hours: 1 day per week, approximately 6–8 hours. Thursday is the family's preferred day, although they are happy to consider any day between Monday and Thursday for the right candidate.
Salary: £25ph
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
