Family Housekeeper in Chelsea

On behalf of our private, returning client, we are looking for a warm, dependable, and capable Live-in Family Housekeeper to join a lovely family home. This is a busy, varied role that covers housekeeping, cooking, light PA work, and a hands-on morning routine with a 6.5 years old. 

The family have a 6.5-year-old child who travels to school by bus each day, and a 10-year-old child who is away during the week. Their weekend nanny is already in place from Thursday evening, so this role covers Monday to Thursday only. A driving licence is required for this role 

The role is Live-in only on duties from Monday to Thursday and Live-out on days off.

Working hours / schedule:

Monday to Thursday 9 hours per day with 2 babysittings included.

Housekeeping duties include:

• Cleaning a 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom family home to a high standard


• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and keeping all rooms looking their best


• Laundry (No ironing required) 


• General tidying and keeping the home well-presented throughout the day

Cooking duties include:

• Cooking healthy simple family dinners


• Light food preparation and keeping the kitchen clean and organised

Childcare duties:

• Helping the daughter get ready for school, including doing her hair


• Babysittings on evenings if required

PA and household duties include:

• Running errands as needed


• Managing dry cleaning collection and delivery


• Package acceptance within certain windows


• Managing house repairs with workman 

Salary: £55 to £65k gross per year (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Start date: July 2026 (trial as soon as possible)
