We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a prestigious private household in Caversham. This role is based in a beautifully renovated private family home in Caversham. The property comprises four bedrooms, three floors, two bathrooms and an additional WC, requiring a housekeeper who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional housekeeper with exceptional attention to detail who enjoys working in high-end private homes.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a beautifully renovated four-bedroom family home to the highest standard. Duties will include:
Full housekeeping and cleaning throughout the property
Bed making and preparing guest rooms
General household upkeep and presentation
Ensuring the home is immaculate and ready for the family's arrival
Working alongside the client's Personal Assistant during the initial handover
Requirements
Previous private household housekeeping experience
Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of cleaning
Reliable, professional and discreet
Enhanced DBS check required, as children are present in the home
Hours: 20 July – 26 August 2026, Daily, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Salary: £25 per hour, self-employed
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
