On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced, male tutor to provide academic support for their 15 years old son based in Doha, Qatar.
This is a live-in position offering an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator with experience teaching the American curriculum. You will provide structured, one to one tuition to support the students academic progress in a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities may include:
- Deliver one-to-one tutoring in line with the American curriculum.
- Support the student’s academic development and homework after school.
- Prepare lesson planes and learning materials tailored to the student’s needs.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching methods where required.
- Encourage positive study habits and independent learning.
- Liaise with the family regarding the students progress when appropriate.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and experience of the American curriculum.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience with secondary school aged students
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, reliable, and able to build a positive rapport.
- Willing to relocate to Doha, Qatar
Benefits
- Accommodation: Candidates will be provided with a two-bedroom apartment shared with one other tutor, with their own bathroom. Married and/or those relocating with their family will be provided with a family apartment.
- Transportation: Daily transport between the accommodation and the workplace will be arranged by the family office.
- Annual Leave: 45 days paid leave, including one return flight home each year.
- Health insurance: Comprehensive health insurance
- Visa & Relocation: Visa and relocation flight will be arranged and covered by the family office.
Hours: 5-6 days per week/ 3-4 hours a day. School finishes between 2pm – 2.30pm daily.
Start Date: 17th August 2026
Salary: Competitive Salary depending on experience
