Live-in Housekeeper in Lake Starnberg, Munich

About the role

An ultra-high-net-worth family based near Lake Starnberg is seeking two experienced and highly flexible Housekeepers to join their private household team. This is a large, busy family home with multiple children and frequent guests, requiring a proactive, hands-on approach and a strong team mentality.

The principal is looking to build a reliable, long-term team and is open to training candidates who demonstrate the right attitude: willing, engaged, and adaptable.

This is a dynamic household where no two days are the same. The role requires energy, commitment, and a genuine willingness to contribute to a well-functioning home environment. The principals are seeking long-term team members who can grow with the household.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on shift but include:

Morning Shift (6:30am – 2:30pm):

• Breakfast service and clearing


• General housekeeping (cleaning, hoovering, tidying)


• Care of master bedroom, bathroom, and ladies’ dressing areas


• Assisting with light, child-friendly lunch preparation

Afternoon/Evening Shift (11:45am – 8:15pm):

• Laundry and wardrobe management


• General housekeeping duties


• Acting as a runner within the household


• Assisting with evening service when required

Hours: 5 days per week (rota basis). Includes weekend work

Accommodation: Private room (ensuite or shared bathroom; photos to be provided)

Salary: €2,800 – €3,000 net per month
