We are seeking a team of 2 housekeepers to support a busy family household in Notting Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced, proactive housekeepers who enjoy cooking and take pride in maintaining a well-organised family home. The family consists of four members, including two boys aged 5 and 7, and two cats. They live in a spacious five-storey home with four bedrooms. The family spends approximately half of the year in Germany, and during these periods, full working hours will still be provided. Responsibilities while the family is away include house sitting, deep cleaning, and caring for the family's two cats.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, intuitive, and able to anticipate the family's needs with minimal direction. As the home spans five storeys, they should be agile and comfortable working across a larger property. Above all, they must be trustworthy, reliable, and discreet, with a genuine passion for preparing healthy, home-cooked meals using fresh, high-quality ingredients, avoiding pre-prepared foods and artificial additives wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
Daily housekeeping and maintaining high cleaning standards
Laundry and wardrobe care
Vacuuming and general household organisation
Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals from scratch
Cooking breakfast (such as smoothies and eggs)
Preparing family dinners using fresh ingredients (European-style cooking including roast chicken, steak, fish, and vegetables)
Cooking for three family members
Occasional babysitting when required
No driving required
Hours: Monday to Friday
Morning Shift: 7:00am – 2:00pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm
Salary: £20 gross per hour, plus bonus.
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
